Today we honor a great man and Mason on his 90th birthday. Glenn Luster has been an integral part of Lewisville Masonic Lodge No. 201 for many years. He was awarded the Golden Trowel by our lodge for spreading brotherly love everywhere he goes. He is one of the best known, and smoothest talking, Mason’s at our lodge. Thank you Glenn for all your service to our lodge and our community over the years. You are a true brother and a great friend. We all hope you have a wonderful birthday and we promise to buy you a cup of coffee at Whataburger the next time we see you there!

You and your family are invited to the Lewisville Lodge No. 201 annual Chili Cook-off Thursday February 21st, 2019 starting at 6:00 P.M. Fellowship, 6:30 P.M. Dinner. Anyone can enter the cook-off, but only one lucky person will win a gorgeous traveling chili cook-off trophy! There is no entry fee to enter a chili but we will be accepting $10 donations per adult /$5 for Kids 12 & under for all you can eat chili and entry into our door prize give away. The Stewards will be providing salad, chili fixin’s (onions, cheese, & crackers) and deserts. Don’t miss this fun opportunity to bring your family and friends to our award winning chili dinner! Each year, Lewisville Masonic Lodge No. 201 endeavors to present various awards and scholarships to outstanding individuals in the community. Among the awards given are, “The Community Builder Award”, “The Mirabeau B. Lamar Medal”, and “The Honesty & Integrity Award”, as well as several scholarships to deserving local high school seniors. This years awards night will be on June 7th, 2018 with the dinner beginning at 6:30 PM and the awards program starting at 7:30 PM. This is a community event that will be opened everyone. We hope to see you there!

In appreciation for all that they do, Lewisville Lodge No. 201 Ancient Free & Accepted Masons would like to serve breakfast to the first responders in our community! We need volunteers for the Police and Fireman’s breakfast scheduled on April 7th, 2018 starting at 2:00 A.M.. Your help with this event is greatly appreciated by not only the brothers at the Masonic lodge but also by the first responders that put their life on the line to help protect our community. There will be 2 shifts which will consist of 2-6 A.M. and 5:30-9:30 P.M..

Who: All of the Men and Women that are either on or off duty including Police Officers, Sheriff’s Deputies, State Troopers, Firemen, Volunteers and your Department’s Staff.

2:00 A.M. – 9:30 A.M. (We will begin serving around 3:00 A.M.)

We will be serving all you can eat; ham, bacon, eggs to order, sausage, biscuits & gravy, juice and coffee.

The Lewisville Masonic Lodge, its members and officers remain forever grateful for the services provided by our Past Masters and the Widows of our departed Brothers. Annually, we have a dinner to honor and celebrate each of them in recognition for all that they have done and continue to do for us.

This year the dinner will be on Thursday, February 15th 2018 at our lodge building, located at 603 Manco Road in Lewisville. Fellowship will begin at 6:00 P.M., dinner will be served at 6:30 P.M. and a program to honor them will follow at 7:30 P.M.

This event is open to members, friends and family so please come out and show your support and respect to our Past Masters and Widows that have worked so hard to make this lodge what it is today. Feel free to forward this email or invite anyone that might want to attend.

We still need brethren to help pick up Past Masters and Widows that need transportation both to and from the event. Your kind deed of charity is greatly appreciated by the Past Masters, Widows and Brethren of the Lewisville Masonic Lodge.
